I read in the newpaper the waterpark just opened. If you go there avoid the weekends and just go on a regular Tuesday or something when you have a chance to get a tube.
Yeah it was very nice. I want to go to one of the bigger festivals next year. I didn't quite realize how awesome it would look. Glad you liked the pun. My friend said it is a 'dad joke', but I'm not sure why.
What a beautiful display! I love the fancy designed buildings surrounding it! It's wonderful to be able to get out and enjoy these beauties of spring!
Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, I thought it looked great too. I wish I could go for some better shots when it isn't crowded, it was a real challenge avoiding all the people.
Totally agree and respect not going to crowded places, this however you can see why it is so popular. Definitely looks like a little bit of Holland in your back yard.
Enjoyed the beautiful flowers and scenery, great photography!
It appears they have recreated the Dutch canals by using blue flowers to represent the water flowing through. A fusion of Eastern and Western gardening styles.
Beautiful fields of tulips! It looks like they are trying to recreate the Keukenhof festival here in the Netherlands! Especially with the windmill! But it is great to see all the colours.
It's one place I definitely want to visit in spring. Dutch and Tulips are like Japanese and Cherry Trees, you find them all over the place. I remember seeing a few flower gardens where it was from some Dutch King or Government official giving thanks to a foreign country for something or another.
Oh, I have had a few beers in Holland at the airport. Heinekens to celebrate doubling-up on blackjack at the casino there. I've never been to Belgium, but I do want to do a beer trip and it happens to be on the circle of western germany, northern fracne, belgium, holland.
Hahaha they have two lips!
Tulips are actually the flowers of Kings. I forgot the history, but this is all that I can remember.
The place is too crowded and I would love to see it when there are no crowds about!
A lovely post my friend.
Blessings!
If youbgo very early in the morning, it is a little better, especially on a tuesday or something. This weekend is children's day, so it will be madness.
Wow! Screaming children all round and frantic mommies running all over the place to stop the kids from plucking and eating the tulips.
Not a good time to go my friend!
This brings back flashbacks. The waterpark next door is the coolest!

Haha, I never gave it that much thought, but the blue flowers definitely look like water. I do like living flower arrangements.

Beer a big no in Holland! Then you have to come to Belgium 😁

You will find the best beer in Belgium. No doubt about it! We do have more than 1000 different types of beer :)
