THE HUMAN GOOD PROJECT - VENEZUELA - LITTLE HORSE TO WHOM UNCLE BOB SAVED HIS LIFE.
Uncle Bob is a 60-year-old man, he owns a small farm where he usually spends the weeks in contact with nature but it was not always like that, Uncle Bob was a businessman with too much activity, a man who worked 20 hours a day and more, under constant pressure, until one day he suffered a heart attack, which is why he was about to lose his life. From that moment, Uncle Bob decided to give a total turn to his life, so he said that at that moment, when he felt that the body was sleeping, when he thought that life was going away. Then it was said:
Is this how I should end up? Is this my end? What is really my mission in life?
From there, Uncle Bob gave the reins of the company to his eldest son Alberto, who became the general manager of the company; and Uncle Bob retired to live in his small farm, to be more relaxed, so that his treatment could have better results.
Something that helped him definitely to complement and to finish understanding and accepting this reality, was that in his farm a small horse in the savannah was trapped in a fence, and a leg was broken. Uncle Bob immediately called Paul the veterinarian, his childhood friend, who told him that unfortunately, the little horse had to be sacrificed. Uncle Bob, asked Pablo to please look for an alternative because he did not want to sacrifice it.
After thinking a bit, Pablo told him:
Well, Bob, there's a small option, but I can not guarantee anything, the possibility of doing it and putting on a prosthesis, but it's a bit expensive and a long treatment. It will require a lot of care.
Uncle Bob told him:
Quiet Paul, it does not matter what it costs, as long as the horse is not sacrificed
The process of treatment and recovery of the horse, was long, but Uncle Bob was not discouraged, he was dedicated to take care of him, as if it were one of the members of his family. Pablo made the prosthesis, which was placed on the horse, at first he did not tolerate it, but Pablo said that this was normal and that little by little he will get used to it.
With the passing of the days the horse, he accepted the prosthesis and soon he was seen walking and spinning in the Potrero, leaning on his artificial leg. With the constant care of Uncle Bob, the little horse began to jog and have a normal life.
In a conversation with Uncle Bob, he told me that apart from his family, that little horse, he had served as motivation, to reinforce that thought what got between his eyebrows, at the time he suffered the heart attack, what began to take care, promising that he would be cured, at the time the horse, had also healed, and so it was. Every afternoon he sits in his chair to watch the little horse run in the corral, who with his neighs seems to thank him for having saved his leg and life.
Today Uncle Bob is a man who is in good health, in very good condition; and he continues to live on his farm, he rarely goes to the city. He only does it when he goes to look for supplies and says that definitely, life was made to live it with tranquility, that things have to be taken calmly, because something that is ending with people is that random life, which we all carry, the stress , the pollution of cities. And today inevitably we must add the political and economic situation that afflicts Venezuela, but above all those vicissitudes, Uncle Bob does not lose hope, to continue fighting for his life. That's the new Uncle Bob.
