Hello, fellow Steemians! Today I am checking out this new community called Steemleo. I will be using the Steem Leo condenser instance in creating this blog-post to check how it feels and how it differentiates from other condensers that I have used so far. Mind you this is not I deep dive blog-post I am just checking the project for the first time and I am learning more about it as I write about it here. So please if you find anything wrong or outdated feel free to correct me in the comments section below.

As a quick assessment, the condenser looks like a twin version of the Steemit condenser with some minor difference. It has a different logo, links to Steemkei-related sites and a slightly older version of the editor. overall I really feel at home with Steemleo as its interface and how it reacts feels very similar to Steemit condensers which are not all that surprising since it is a fork of it.

As you might have already known there has been a deluge of tribes that are popping out on the Steem network and Steemleo is one of them. This new tribe is all about investments. Steemians who loves to post about investing-related content would probably be interested with this tribe.

I think this is an important topic I should discuss especially to my fellow Marlians and Ulogers who might not fully understand the tags they are using and thus fell target to downvotes from other Steemians for abuse of the tag. Although I am not a fan of using downvotes there is a reason why we have those in the Steem network. So be careful what you tag as this tribe is not one of those universal tags that you can tag on any topic you like.

If you want to participate in this tribe all you have to do is use the steemleo tag and post any investing-related content. The fact that it does not require you to use its condenser to participate is awesome since I like using eSteem Surfer as my main editor and explorer for my Steem activities. Each time you post a qualified content you stand to earn some LEO rewards.

The project has integrated with Steem-Engine, the tokenization sidechain platform of Steemit, and apparently has 3 different tokens. First, there are the LEO tokens, which are used to reward investment-related content. Then there are the two mining tokens called LEOMM and LEOM which basically does the same thing but at different rates and different values. LEOMM and LEOM are LEO Virtual TOken, holding them let you mine LEO tokens at a certain rate.

Like many of the Tribes, SteemLeo conducted an Airdrop to active Steemian similar to what PAL did a couple of months ago. The SteemLeo developer/s decided to airdrop 1,739,037 of their tokens to Palnet Stakeholders. They decided to do this since they felt that PAL represents some of the most active/best Steemians on the Steem Chain.

Lastly, the project also has its own ScotTube instance called Tube.SteemLeo.com. Unfortunately, I have had not the time yet to explore that function thoroughly as I am exploring this new tribe as I write. I do however expect to see a lot of videos about investment there since that is the main theme of the project.

That is it for now friends. I will do another blog-post about Steemleo in the future when I gain more experience interacting with the community and trying out some of their features especially the mining part. Goodbye and I hope you found my blog-post informative. Upvotes and resteems are very much appreciated. Thanks!
