Food Photography Challenge - Week 62 - Carrot & Tomatoes
I decided to enter the contest Food Photography Challenge - Week 62 | "📷Capture, Click, Compete!📷" by @theentertainer.
Greetings friends.
I took this photo about a month ago. And I was going to show it here several times. But for some reason I couldn't do it in any way. Thanks to @stef1, she gave me the right idea with her post about carrots and potatoes.
Does anyone disagree that this is not a photo of food? This is the freshest and healthiest food. After the photo shoot, it all went straight into my mouth. Yes, I ate it all, right here in my yard. I eat tomatoes right off the bush, and I eat carrots out of the soil.
I also eat apples, pears, and other berries, picked from a bush or a tree. I don't wash them. Bacteria and germs? As children, we didn't even think about them and were practically not ill. What happened to us next? We began to think too much about bacteria, and sellers of detergents and hygiene products did their job. We became zombified. I agree, not all of them. I passed by this advertisement.
By the way, about 20 years ago, in one of the Viasat Explore TV shows, it was said that asthma and allergies are diseases of clean hands. I agree with this statement.
Oh, did I load you up too much with my boredom, my friends?
Carrots often have bizarre shapes. This is due to the structure of the soil and also to the quality of irrigation. What does this have to do with watering? Carrots should not be watered often, but watering should be of very high quality. It is necessary to make carrots stretch deep into the earth in search of moisture. If the water is on the surface, then small root hairs will begin to develop in carrots. By the way, you can see them in the photo. Why don't I do that? I have a mother, she is 84 years old. She likes to take care of the plants in the garden. She considers watering vegetables her duty, but she does it wrong. But I don't blame her for that. May she continue to help us with household chores. This prolongs the life of the elderly.
You ask me - what does this have to do with food photography? No way. I'm just a bore.
Friends, thank you for your attention.
Upvoted! Thank you for supporting witness @jswit.
