Some things go as planned and somethings not, but one thing I can do is prepare for the future.

Will this take away ever come to reality or is it something that I will only ever dream about? who knows what the future will hold.

Now as I am trying to build a menu, you know something that will make you hungry just by reading the titles of the products on the menu I also have to make sure that things taste as good as they sound.

this is called product development and I am having to think of new ways to make things taste and even look good.

There is a problem however, I only have the equipment I have at home, and commercial equipment cooks different to what I can get my hands on so who knows what things are going to taste like when my takeaway goes live.

But like I said I have to plan, I have to make sure that I have a menu that stands out from the crowd.

There is some examples that I have to take into consideration.

I have a couple of friends who own takeaways, I know them pretty well and they both know each other too. I have worked for them both and they both are really nice people.

One takeaway takes £2500 per week in takings and the other does £6000 a week there menus are different from each other.

they are both in different areas of the city too, one is in a village with loads of houses and the other is on a main road.

One has a lot of passing trade and the other relies on deliveries to make his money.

When it comes to choosing a spot for my takeaway to be I would like it to be in a village, something that has a lot of passing trade. this is the key.

Menu's over here in the UK have started to pretty much suck, a burger is a burger and cheese burger is the same and it has gotten boring.

I am wanting to spicy things up a little and this is where I am going to trail these products with my family and share my finding here with you guys.

From later today I have a plan to start with my menu building, I want to document everything here on steemit for you all to see the progress and I would like for you all to give input into the products.

I have a plan to have a small menu that is easy to do, because fast food is fast food, not wait an hour and it will be with you.

I have also noticed that all takeaway burgers are frozen, what is this all about? I am wanting to hand form my patties and cook them fresh to every order.

Fries are also pre made and they go into a fryer, why can't takeaways make their own frys? what is this all about.

One person I do talk to about food is my wife, like me she is a foodie, she knows a good takeaway when she finds one. but this is the problem now all takeaways are the same and they all have the same products and to us this is getting old.

We sat and worked out how much each year we spent on takeaways online, this came in at a massive £1200 this doesn't include going to the drive through.

This is a lot of money been spent, and when we looked back over the food that we had bought not one of these takeaways stood out from the crowd.

I am not criticizing the owners of other takeaways as this is not my style, what I am doing is gathering evidence and information for my own way of thinking to make things better.

Everybody loves cheese bites, they seem to be one of the number one things that we sell, they get six in a portion for £3.00 which to me is a fairly high price to pay for a bit of fried cheese. but when I looked at the price the wholesalers where selling this for I soon understood why.

Making these would be cheaper by far, but why does no one make them? this is because most of the takeaways we go to don't make anything that they send to you, their job is to reheat and plate up this to me is a great upset and I think it should change.

We have staff for a reason, We pay wages for them to come in and do a job, what would happen if everything on a menu was made in shop instead of bought?

I would like to think that a takeaway could be fresh but can it? can items be made and sent quick enough to a customer? I just don't have the answers right now but I am sure that it is something that I can work out.

So from later today I will be making food, documenting it here and hopefully I will be able to see with my own eyes why takeaways decide to by from a wholesaler and not make for themselves.

Doesn't everyone want to eat fresh?
