Achievement 1: My Introductory post
Self Intro;
Hello Everyone, I'm Sonia, I'm 21 years old and I'm from crossriver state, Nigeria. Currently live in Enugu, Nigeria.
Education | Career path;
I was a medical rehabilitation student at University of Nigeria enugu campus, currently in the process of changing departments to either Nursing Science or Medical laboratory science.
About to graduate as a Soc Analyst after a 7month +3 months internship program which I started June 2021.
Also Currently learning programming on Free code camp, conversant with html & css .
Crypto Experience ;
I have very limited knowledge on crypto. The only thing I'm aware of is that it's a trading service involving buying and selling of crypto coins at a certain value and the value is prone to fluctuations.
Hobbies;
When I'm not writing codes or reading about logs or security measures, I read Novels. I'm an ardent reader with immense love for books. I read all genres from fiction, mystery to romance.
I play mobile games on some days when the mood strikes. I especially enjoy chess, traffic racer, piano tiles e.t.c.
On some days I'm immersed in movies. I follow a lot of series and I watch everything marvel, Disney or Netflix related. Love k-drama as well.
Dislikes;
Disturbance, especially when I'm focused on the task at hand. disturbance leads to distraction and subsequently frustration.
Change, I know change is essential for growth but it doesn't mean I have to like it though 🤷🤷.
Posts I hope to see;
I look forward to seeing short stories. I read one written by @Alphafx and it was absolutely amazing so I look forward to reading more. I'm also open to learning something new, don't know what it'll be yet but when I see it I'll know.
Posts to Create;
I am very enthusiastic about cyber security and how we as internet users can apply safety measures to ensure security of self and data. So I'm hoping to create awareness on common cyber attack vectors and how stay protected and reduce risk of a cyber attack.
How I found Steemit;
Heard about steemit from a friend @Alphafx last year I think, didn't really pick interest until I saw a tweet he made this year about steemit. So I saw it as an opportunity meet people with different interests and learn from them and also share the knowledge I have on information security.

At first, we recommend you to continue making Achievement posts in Newcommers community and review this tutorial with the answers for the most important questions. Don’t you worry if for the first few days or even weeks you will be making the mistakes or writing great quality posts without expected income. Give yourself the time for learning all the stuff and being discovered by other users :) Write every day (or almost every day) and you will surely become successful at some point.
Before you will start writing, you have to select the communities where you want to be active. I recommend you to choose those of them that are related to your hobbies and, obviously, not too small. Personaly, I’d select any community with more than 75 users, but it’s your choice. To make it easier, I’m sending the link to the complete list of active communities on Steemit (searcher does not work well, so it’s better to use that list instead)
