Greetings to you all. How are you today? I hope you are all fine as I am. All thanks to @xpilar for organising this contest. Today I want to show you the step by step I have taken to draw an apple. I believe you will like it.

Materials For drawing

• Plain A4 paper
• Pencils
• Eraser
• Sharpener

Step 1
I began by drawing a circle with my free hand, which represents my apple. I also sketch the stem of the fruit.

Step 2
I sketch a leaf that is attached to the stem of the fruit.

Step 3
I shaded the stem of the fruit. I also shaded the point of attachment between the stem and the fruit.

Step 4
I began shading the fruit at this point. I started from the bottom of the fruit. I used a 12B pencil for the shading.

Step 5
I complete the shading of the fruit. In the shading, I observe the reflection of light.

Step 6
I shaded the leaf of the fruit. I ensure that the veins and midrib of the leaf are seen.

Step 7
Here I shaded the background using a 12B pencil and I also shaded the shadow of the fruit.
