This is Lake Ala Kol in Kyrgyzstan. You'll find this lake high up in the mountains near the city Karakol. A lot of people make the effort to hike up all the way up and see the blueness of this glacier lake. To us it was breathtaking.

Moon Connection. Perfect and almost Marsian view passing up the Nile from Luxor to Aswan on a small cruise ship.
The right place and right moment to catch the Moon and the Mosque almost at same line, showing their connection to each other... Stunning a bit reddish colors of sunset adds a lot of drama. Enjoy it!

View of a river flowing through a forested part of Medellin. Home to some 2.5 million people, Medellin is the second-largest city in Colombia, after Bogota, and the capital of the department of Antioquia. I took this shot in May earlier this year.

The epic hike to the Rainbow Mountain in Peru is one of my most unforgettable trips in South America. It's exhausting to walk on the highland with an elevation of almost 5000 metres, but it's totally worth it when I got to see all the colorful landscapes and lovely alpacas.

Waterfalls near Banos, Ecuador

A popular activity in Banos is to rent a bicycle and ride down the "waterfall route" that descends from the Andean town to the outskirts of the Amazon. Since there are quite a few tourists taking the same route every day, there was a truck available that took me and the bicycle back up to Banos after a fantastic day. If bike rides could only always be this easy!

San Cristobal Cathedral
The Cathedral of San Cristóbal or Barcelona Cathedral is a religious building of the Catholic Church in the historic center of the city of Barcelona, capital of the Anzoátegui State in northwestern Venezuela. This Church, although it began in 1748, was officially created in 1773 by the Spanish colonizers which was the first church, consecrated in the region. In 1777, the Bishop of Puerto Rico, Manuel Jiménez Pérez, brought the remains of San Celestino to the church from Rome. His remains were placed in a baroque reliquary and located in a small chapel on the left wing of the church. The martyr San Celestino has since been revered by the inhabitants of Barcelona as the Patron of the city.

Photo is from Bolivia, from more than 4.000 meters altitude where air is much different then in our usual world. It is near more famous Atacama desert, but it is as spectacular. Place below is Laguna Blance.

View over the strange landscape of large rocks stacked wisely by nature. The Caura River is a river of the Bolivar state, in Venezuela. This river is located between the municipalities Cedeño and Sucre of the state, southeast of Venezuela. The river has a length of 723 km until it flows into the Orinoco River. It is the third river in Venezuela for its flow.

Sunset in Boca de Río - Margarita Island

Wonderful afternoon of a walk with my family in Boca de Río, we stopped and in the meantime I took advantage of photographing this sunset; In the distance you can see some hills that stand out in the sunlight, and some fishermen picking up the net.

Military monument of the city of Barcelona. Capital of the Anzoátegui-Venezuela State
It is located on the banks of the Neverí River that crosses this city until it flows into the sea. In its surroundings there are paths that residents visit either to cool off on the banks of the river or to perform aerobic activities.
