Sharing rewards (Beneficiary shares?)

Sharing Rewards

One new feature Steem just added which I think is useful is the ability to share rewards with beneficiaries. I've decided to put this feature to use and share some of my rewards from some of my posts. This feature may be useful in that it can encourage people who have long stopped being active on Steem to return if they can see they are still getting rewards.

One more thing to note is that I think while these features are taking Steem in the right direction commercially, there is more to be done. I think we still need more ways to encourage participants to take Steem out of circulation. Too much circulating Steem often becomes a falling price.

Beneficiary shares?

Who to share rewards with? Well whoever has appreciated my content in the past or who I have interacted with in the past may be a good candidate. Will think about more how best to use the feature but it effectively could evolve into a feature which @dana-edwards into a sort of corporation with revenue sharing. I would hope the SMT feature allows something like this where we can sell a token which represents our beneficiary list.

I like the idea of using the beneficiary ability to give back to supporters, like a revenue sharing plan as you mentioned. I've been doing something similar by up voting all comments to my posts. But this is another way it could be done, automatically once it is set up. It lets one reward a supporting account that isn't posting anymore, as you said.

It was added to the Steemit UI. It’s been a part of blockchain for as long as I can remember. SteemPeak has had it from the start.

Seems like a cool idea. But I wanna ask you a question?

Do you want to share with me, I love to have some of your rewards...

You're not using SteemPeak..

You need to drop everything and start using SteemPeak not only have they had beneficiaries for posts (and comments) for quite awhile now, they even have @likwid beneficiary reward option built in to the post reward toggle for 100% liquid rewards.

OR Whatever % you make @likwid a post beneficiary of, they will pay out that percentage of your SP author rewards in liquid steem. (so yep, @likwid at 100% beneficiary will give you 100% liquid steem post rewards ;)

SteemPeak is literally bursting with AWESOME features that unlock the advanced blogging platform STEEM truly is.. I wrote a detailed review of their front-end features here: Testing Front-Ends if you're interested!
