How to survive in the hell of social networks and stop being a masochist?
Most people have an amazing hobby - hitting their face with images of other people.
They live constantly with the feeling that they have lost. But how to think differently, when your childhood friend already has a good business, and the plain woman from a parallel class has become a star on Instagram? And Billie Eilishish still a teenager.
What is left to do? Engage in self-flagellation.
Therefore, people take a large cup of coffee with them and get down to business.
"This girl has slender legs, and I have fat and ugly ones."
"That guy has a great car. Surely he has a lot of girls. And sex too. And nobody even looks at me."
"Wow! They have a great company, they have such a great time. I haven't had any friends for five years."
"WHY ONLY GEEKS AROUND??!!"
Oh yeah. Social networks in this regard is a branch of hell for morally unstable and notorious people.
You open the ribbon and you want to cry, right?
Around the harmonious ranks of stunning individuals who have reached the peak of self-realization and enlightenment. Photographers, artists, tattooists, designers, musicians, rock climbers. All these people are beautiful, intelligent, educated. And, most importantly, they almost all have an ass like a nut.
But the human body cannot and does not want to suffer for a long time, so the brain begins to frantically seek a way out. We also begin to look for a good angle in the mirror, in which our ass can also be mistaken for a nut. At least coconut.
Our mind, exhausted by imaginary competition, seizes upon every opportunity to grab fast carbohydrates for self-assessment - likes, emoticons, comments and compliments. Just a little pinch of illusion and voila - you can live again. Until the next attack of self-blame.
Sometimes you can't fool the brain. You try to do something to be like all other people, but after failure everything ends.
My dear friend!
First, remember:what is important to you hurts you.
If the dudes on the cool cars don't bother you at all, but the muscular males surrounded by hundreds of beauties rip you from the inside, then in your heart you understand perfectly well that it would be cool to sign up for the gym and work on yourself and your belly.
Secondly, exhale deeply and think carefully about your needs.
What do your envy and indifference say, that you ignore and do not want to notice? Why do you need a cool car? Do you want to have a good time with your friends, fall in love with girls, or travel easily?
Having found this need inside you, consider it intently and think how to implement it. So that it was cool for you, and not so that good photos could be uploaded to Instagram. Just act.
At first you will fail, then again nothing will work, and then suddenly you will be very good. Even if you still will not get anything. Just because you finally stopped looking at other people and their lives, and you started your own.
Love it! Love that you sprinkled it with your unique touch of humour too.
I’ve never been one compelled to take part in this endless comparison game, but I can understand why some choose to engage in it. The social media scene is one big performance act and sadly people often mistake what they see for what truly goes on behind the scene.
No one has it all together at all times, we’re all flawed people who have their fair share of issues and wounds to deal with. To carry envy in our heart is harmful and it is a waste of time. At the end of the day, that time should be invested toward becoming the best we can be. 💫
Thank! I think so too. it's time to stop wasting time and your precious life on nonsense - anger, comparison and envy, because this is the path to nowhere. you need to love yourself, your life and take everything that happens to you.
The images and text work really well together. Fantastic post. I wish my posts were this good.
Wow!!!)))
What a great comment! He gave me strength and inspiration. Thank you very much! I will try)
Lol I long abandoned the user of traditional social media its just about how to sell yourself through sex and money with some sort of niche appeal like im a sexy baker or im a sexy animal lover, there's very little depth to it anymore as a communication medium.
The only reason I have it is to run ads for clients so they pay me to get these sheeple to buy their products lol. If you know the amount of data we can collect on someone in order to sell them something I think most people would be surprised but also not care.
I think I understand you. I support your point of view. I used to have a lot of accounts, but lately I understand that this is complete nonsense for which you spend your time and energy. I like being here because it's fun. If I have something to share, then I do it and get a response from interested people. I think that it is much more useful than mindlessly flipping through the tape in search of new photos and posing as someone else)))
