GOD'S MOVE ON OUR LAND..#A CLARION CRY TO PROCLAIM

John 3:14- And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the son of man be lifted up (KJV)
In the same way that Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert so people could have something to see and then believe, it i s necessary for the son of man to be lifted up (MSG)

Romans 10:8- But what saith it? The word of God is near thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart; that is the word of faith which we preach (“proclaim”)

Dearly beloved, it’s no news any longer that the Lord is beginning to do a new thing in the midst of the people. The trumpets are sounded to usher God’s move upon our land, the reign of His glory and the establishment of His kingdom and percepts on the land.

However, we must understand that in any of God’s interface and relationship with the affairs of men, always preceding is a responsibility of which is to be executed by man, thus creating a platform upon which such a move finds practical manifestation. It’s important to note the fact that in every dealing with God, the place of man’s responsibility and role to play is indispensable. Thus, for this dispensation, the heavens stretch forth a hand of partnership with the body of Christ upon the land, so we can witness such a happening in our time. The rains might descend upon a land, but until such a land is tilled and cultivated, in anticipatuon of the incoming rain, its descent is of no enduring effect. It is therefore our responsibility as the harbingers of thus incoming wave to reach out, till and cultivate the land whilst awaiting the rains.

Beloved, heavens demands, at this point in time, that we proclaim the name of the Lord upon the ends of the land. That by making His name known upon the land, He is lifted up and He then causes everyone who beholds Him to be subdued and surrendered to the end that every tongue shall declare His glory and majesty, and every knee shall bow at His feet and so, His throne shall be established upon the land. Only that thus time, His name shall be proclaimed with a more purposeful intent. Romans 10:14 asks, “How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?. Thus, if Christ must reign in the hearts of the inhabitants of thus land, we are responsible for introducing Him to the land by publishing His name to the ends of the land. Romans 10:15 thus states, “A sight to take your breath away! Grand processions of people telling all the good things of God! (MSG). How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things (KJV). That chapter in Verse 17 goes on to say, “The point is, before you trust, you have to listen. But unless Christ's word is preached, there’s nothing to listen to (MSG).

This time, however, the emphasis is placed on the individual/personal responsibility rather than a corporate attitude to the call. If the harvest would be plentiful, then all hands must be in deck to see to its delivery. An individual approach to travailing in the place of prayer for the land, coupled with a consistent proclamation of the name of the Lord within our circles of influence and endeavour would now avail much. Now, more than ever, there is need for a strengthened and fortified unity of purpose. Purpose to hoist the knowledge if Christ in the midst of the residents of this particular geographic expression. More so, is the need for heightened personal and individual commitment , culminating in an unusual corporate velocity as a body.

Dearly beloved, the aim therefore, is to uplift Christ, and Christ alone. And He who is lifted up shall cause a casting down of any such systems or establishments which run inconsistent with the knowledge of Him on the land, as well as cause everyone to run to Him, that beholds Him. So let's lift Him up, and keep Him lifted.

Lift Him up, His name be lifted higher. Thus land shall be filled with the glory of God as the waters cover the sea.
