What a journey!

When we started this, we do not know how huge it has become, and we are just so grateful that every single person who has tirelessly, with their sweat and muscle, pulled this through to the 11th hour.

Everything looks magnificent and if it was not for the volunteers who forked out their time, we wouldn't be able to be ready to get this up on time; and on Thursday, most of the major things have already taken cared of.

Volunteers patiently wheeled in all the prepped decorations, and mind you, they are not all in their 20s, but they didn't mind the laborious work of love, so that under privileged families and children could have a feel how Christmas is like in Malaysia.

We managed to acquire these beautiful table cloth decorations, and while the young men prepped the tables, the ladies did the cloth placing.

If you see it from the Audio Video control room, you can see how huge the venue is!

And after all the decoration is up, they are all photo-worthy stations for visitors and attendees!

We even dolled up the registration counter to welcome the attendees to register their names in order to be sure we have enough bags to be distributed for all families.

Visitors who would like to know what we prepare monthly to registered recipients, we have a mock sample display for those to see and there will be volunteers ready to answer basic inquiries if possible.

(Except canned items and Milo that are usually distributed during special occasions like festive seasons)

Last night while storms are thundering outside and some who are safely at home enjoying their well rested evening, the leaders of the Christmas luncheon event forked out their time to finalise everything while performance rehearsals are done at the same time.

These are the breathing loving individuals who puts the needs of others first, to get the job done.

At an end note, we would like to share a few bible verses to those who are also doing the same for those who truly are in need of help:

God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.
Hebrews 6:10

And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.
Hebrews 13:16

And Jesus said,

Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Luke 6:38

So know that your good works, will never go to waste.
