Safari To Uganda

Today, I bring you some highlights on our 9 day safari in the Uganda's wilderness. The smiles from the happy guests; Veerlie, Nathalie and Lotte can tell it all. We started our day driving from Kisoro to Queen Elizabeth national Park, a place for many birds, wildlife and beautiful views of the rwenzori mountains. The drive takes you through stunning landscapes of the country with happy smiles from the community people. We stopped for a street snack well known as "Rolex" (rolled eggs with chapati) and we couldn't wait for the evening boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. The channel connects two famous lakes ; lake George and Edward and is a dominant feature of the park.

We found bathing elephants, various bird species like the the blue breasted kingfisher, malachite kingfisher, red throated bee eaters to mention. As the day gets hotter, most of the animals come along the channel to quench thirst and swim for example buffalos, lions, antelopes and elephants. This is also a perfect time to spot lions and leopards as they are targeting these animals from the water.

The boat is a full two hour cruise which gives you ample time to enjoy the sceneries and do photography. After we had to drive to kikorongo; a place enroute to Kasese famous for the equator. It's where the line that bisects the globe passes and is marked at 0° .

We stopped for a picturesque moment and experiments and continued our way to Fort Portal.
The beautiful place of Tooro kingdom is gifted with many crater lakes and having a crater walk is one of the highlights of what one will enjoy here.
Thank you for always supporting me voting and reposting my articles and I'm so glad to keep showing you the beautiful places and wildlife of Uganda and Rwanda.

This spot looks like a beautiful place to visit in Uganda.
"Mgahinga Gorilla National Park" is on my list already, but I didn't have this other one.

Hopefully, I could have a tour over here by next year.

See you next year in Uganda

That would be amazing to meet up brother. Uganda is surely a beautiful place to explore
