Asado Chicken Noodle Soup at Mandarin Tea Garden
In today's food quest, come and join me as I go and try a Mandarin taste. Just a few minutes away by tricycle from the city proper of Surigao, there you can try some of your favorite renowned Chinese cuisines at Mandarin Tea Garden. As I love to try different types of noodles from different cultures, I thought of sharing it with my family this time.
Just along the high away located at Parkway, AH26, Surigao City, Surigao del Norte, you can find the Mandarin Tea Garden it's in between the Park Way mall and the Parkway Hotel. As far as I know, it's the most visited or the only Chinese restaurant in town. It has spacious parking area and very convenient for shoppers and students nearby. Actually the restaurant has already many branches in the country so you can definitely try it almost everywhere.
I tried their "Asado Chicken Noodle Soup" which costs 100.00 pesos (almost 2 US dollars.) If you are planning to try their noodles you can actually have it shared with someone for I believe it's already good for two persons. What I like about the soup is that the noodle strips are actually well cooked for not having it too soft and thicker compared to some Asian noodles. The "asado chicken" which means "roasted chicken" are well done and it's tinder and a bit juicy.
The place isn't too spacious but can already accommodate almost twenty people. It's good for family gatherings and simple occassions. I would like to commend them for it's cleaner compared to any branches I have been to maybe because they just have fewer customers or because they have more alert staffs. Overall, I liked the place, service and the foods. As for me, the prices are just reasonable and definitely a must try.
That's basically it,
DEUCES!
