Make time for what's important.

I know I've written a lot about time in the past. The past is time. Every single action that we take is based on time.

When we get up in the morning and check our alarm clock, we know that we have a certain amount of time left before we have to be at work. We need to get in the shower and that's going to take time.

Do you have to let the dog out? Do you have to take your kids to school?

Time, time, time. Some things are more important than others. Making money is important so that you can eat, feed your kids if you have any, and also take care of responsibilities that cost money.

You've also got to make time for your own needs. Sometimes just watching a movie is enough to make our minds clear enough to then have a successful day tomorrow. If you don't take care of your mental health then you're not going to find yourself in a great position in the future.

Doing that takes time too, and not everyone is able to call in to take a day off. I work seven days a week meaning that I've got to make time to go to work every single day.

I don't always have time to check my messages when I'm at work. Oftentimes there will be multiple text messages and I never get to check a single one until I get off.

People think that I'm ignoring them but I'm not. If you call me when I'm on the job then I don't have time to talk to you because I'm helping a table. I've got to get paid so that I can do all the things that I need to do.

I try to get together with my parents once a week as well. That's two different lunches because they are not still together. That takes a lot of time as well. Each one of them has their own story to tell and I really try to make time to listen.

Of course writing on here takes time. I like to try to write three times per day, but sometimes I can only make once or twice. That is fine but I remember a time when I used to blog a lot more and a lot longer.

Of course I'm also writing fiction. We're writing a book. 11 authors and I are going to publish a book on March 1st. That is very time-consuming because it requires quite a bit of writing, rewriting, and editing.

The truth we are publishing under the name steam fiction writers. We are currently looking for an illustrator as well. I'd really love to find an illustrator here on Steam that can make great cover art.

It takes time to look for an illustrator. It takes time to write fiction. It takes time to edit it. It takes time to put all of it together.

How much time do we have? Well, we have to go to work, we have to feed the dog, we have to make sure that we are showering and ironing and washing our clothes.

We make time for the people around us as well.

On Thursday a friend of mine mentioned that we might not be able to get together this month because he knows how busy I am and he doesn't want to take up any of my time.

That's ridiculous. There's always stuff to do. I intend to get all of it done. But no matter what happens I can't possibly stop making time for my friend.

Time is the most difficult things for us to work with. The worst part of it all is that one day we will all run out of time.

However, before that happens I will definitely be making the most out of my time.

Making time for the things that matter, and the people that matter as well.
