What is that?
Someone singing.
Oh what a sad song.
"Hi, How are you?"
"Not so good.
My heart is breaking."
They seem to me
to be inside a
mental box.
Maybe I can help them
break free
I can try.
"I'm sad to hear, My friend,
that you are suffering"
Why? What happened."
"I made a lot of mistakes.
I was selfish.
I used people."
"My actions, I was a monster,
put me inside this box
and I can't get out."
"You can get out.
I'll help you.
Here take my hand."

At first peeking out
then slowly emerging
little bit little bit.
Voila! They were out of the box
smiling and feeling
very strong.
But, still holding my hand
they tried to drag me
into the box.
I fought
with all my strength
and pulled away.
Dazed and confused
"No! No!
What are you doing?"
They answered
"What do you expect?
I am a monster after all ."
