This year, the Christmas spirit is definitely making its presence felt, even in a city where snow doesn’t fall. I’m used to everything being covered in a white blanket this time of year, but Catania doesn’t let that stop them.

They’ve gone all out with their decorations! The entire city is lit up with sparkling lights and festive displays, from stars to reindeer and snowmen. I’d say the atmosphere is nothing short of magical, and the spirit of one of the most significant Christian holidays can be felt in every corner.

During my previous visit, I don’t remember the city being decorated as beautifully as it is now. At that time, I had focused more on visiting other cities and gave less attention to Catania. This year, however, it feels like the city has fully embraced the holiday spirit, making it impossible to overlook the festive transformation.
