Walk along the Vereda del Lago! (Health Challenge)
This is my entry for the contest organized by @healthsquared.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to participate.
Hello friends, today I want to share with you some images of a very busy place in my hometown as it is the Parque Vereda del Lago located in Maracaibo Zulia State (Venezuela).
This is a place of recreation that for us the Marabinos is one of the most preferred. As you can see, this park has a long road that borders the Lake of Maracaibo, from where we can see the Rafael Urdaneta Bridge in the distance, as well as the different boats that move along it. Lake Maracaibo considered the largest and most important in Latin America due to its geographical location with access to the Caribbean Sea.
Walking is one more possibility that we have to do exercises and it is very comfortable for many people because it does not generate great physical and economic demands. It helps the respiratory system, cardiovascular, helps to lose weight and improve muscles.
The walk, unlike other sports, allows you to travel different places and enjoy the landscape, which is why we must always choose a pleasant place that inspires us to do this activity.
I usually visit La Vereda Park to take a walk or just ride a bike, and then enjoy a natural fruit juice. In the internal area of this place there are many structures for fun, have a water park, racetrack, outdoor gym, you can take a walk on the tram, have tennis courts and spaces for soccer practice. They also have kiosks where you can rent a bicycle, so do not worry if you do not have one.
This day I went with my two children and while they were walking they played in the playgrounds that work there. The area of the Vereda is very extensive, some photographs were missing because part of this space was being used by the National Guard in the realization of the practices for the national parades and it was impossible for us to have all the access.
Finally, I must tell you that the park is visited daily by athletes interested in walking, and also the practice of cycling. So I have no choice but to invite you to this beautiful city so you can enjoy this beautiful place.
Thank you for reading
I hope you liked it
