It's not socialism

This morning @laputis and mine SP delegation to a bidbot has returned to us and our upvote value is back to normal. I received back 30000 SP and @laputis received 8000 SP.

The reason for this move is that we want to support our community of Pinky and Spiky Contest and Secrets of Organ Playing Contest participants more. Not only those who win the prizes but also everybody who sends in a valid original entry.

If anyone is planning to participate in our Pinky and Spiky Drawing Contest please remember that you have to draw your comic from the beginning to the end yourself. Can't use somebody else's material for the background or other things. Drawing with the software digitally is of course fine as long as it is you who are creating everything.

I have noticed some people draw their Pinky and Spiky once and reuse them over and over again. This is boring of course, not creative and not make people to smile. It shows a person is only concerned about getting that upvote. Too bad. Where is creativity? Where is fun in all this? I know they can do better and they do better once they realize what they are missing.

So anyway, our upvotes will do much more good to the community now. Even if our voting mana drops too much because of too much voting and we have to upvote with only a portion of the full upvote, even then people will be rewarded nicely.

We will grow together.

I have decided to stop delegating to bidbots because my action was based on greed and fear. Greed that our accounts should grow faster than they are now. And fear that organic growth will be too slow.

Greed and fear aren't good motivators for me. It's better stick to generosity and passion.

Generosity of the sharing economy and passion for spreading ideas.

Greed and fear is caused by the scarcity view of the world. "I have not enough. Therefore I should get more. The more other people have, the less I have."

It's better to adopt abundance worldview - it will be enough for everyone. "Maybe I will not make the most amount of money but I will try to add the most amount of value to the conversation."

Let's be realistic - unless Steem value increases significantly in the future (which we all hope will happen), all this Steem I have accumulated or bought will not be enough for us to retire in the Bahamas (which don't have the intention of doing anyway).

That's why maximizing my profits at the expense of everybody else is foolish. If I want people to power up Steem more and raise the Steem value in the process, I have to give them the best experience I can on this platform.

I know, I'm only one person out of 1 million plus Steemians. But if everybody does their part, our collective experience will be much better too.

It's not socialism because I still have to create value around me in order to be rewarded. So do all those people in our community who want our support.

The more value we create, the more value will come back to us.

Excellent review @organduo and very nice to hear from you that you will develop your contests even more intensively, well done!

Good, and even better clarify the conditions to participate, I will try not to make the mistakes you mention.

hahahaha in my last participation I did everything from scratch and do not use images from the web (flageo).

Oh, I wasn't thinking of you... If you did, you cleverly disguised it as your own.

Yes I agree

Excellent I will take into account all suggestions, thanks for all your support

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! Happy, happy, happy!! I don't participate in the comps you mention but you also support me with curation trail and a weekly donation of prizes to my comp, Artstorm.

You are so generous and kind to all my Artstorm entrants. Your post here does not surprise me at all. It is your nature to help distribute Steem to those who enter our contests. It is one of my aims too.

This is a wonderful community of artists who have fun and try for a small reward.

Long live @organduo, @laputis and Steem!!

Yes and with time everybody in our community will have much more Steem Power.
