Welcome to Marc Quinn’s both outdoor and indoor exhibition here at Kew Gardens which I visited this Saturday with my auntie.

Marc Quinn is an artist from South East London. The 2 and 3 dimensional sculptures will be exhibited here throughout the summer which is trying really hard to begin. They act as mirrors and capture yourself amongst the surrounding nature and architecture.

It looks very unusual.

It certainly is. Giant structures which couldn't even be printed on such big metal sheets here in the UK. So the artist got it done in China, then they got shipped back.

China again? You also have "import substitution" from China. When I come to any country or city, and I want to buy a souvenir, but it turns out to be from China.

I like to buy wooden spoons from different Russian cities. But now they have become the same design everywhere and I understand that this is not done by local craftsmen.
Or another example is to buy in Barcelona the symbol of the city - a colored lizard, which is made in China.
