What do you understand by mental peace

Mental peace is the presence of absolute calmness of the mind , soul and spirit. This is when there is no troubling or wondering thoughts going on in our inner most being.

Sometimes, there could still be challenges going on in ones life but you still notice that this person has mental peace. Now it means over time, this person has been able to work himself into the realm of been calm even when there is troubles.

Having mental peace has a way of affecting ones body and physical appearance. When you are troubled or don't have mental peace at the long long the person's body is exposed to certain illness because the body is basically controlled by the things going on with us mentally.

Having mental peace affects every part of us especially our body.

  • When you have mental peace, you won't struggle to have a nice sleep everyday. So nice sleep is an effect of mental peace. Those who don't have mental peace struggle to sleep.

  • Mental peace is an antidote for living a life free from sickness because it increases the immune system of an individual which helps to prevent sickness.

  • Mental peace helps the body metabolism in working better

  • Our body becomes more active and willing to carry out any task or actions when we have mental peace.

Tell us about the ways through which help to get mental peace

There are several ways we can get metal peace. I will tell you the ways that has worked for me.

One of the ways I would suggest on how to get mental peace is the action of living a life free from worry. When we worry a lot a lot things and situations, it distorts our peace. So each time you encounter situations that would warrant you to worry,seize from worrying rather pray about the issue and don't let it bother you anymore.

Another way to develop your mental peace is the act of doing what you love to do best. Some people live their lives doing the things that they don't love..for instance I love to bake but I don't love banking. I leave my baking to joining banking probably because I see a lot of people going into banking. After a while I will loose my mental peace because banking becomes very tasking to me and I don't have capacity to cope.

You can also learn the act of taking a break or resting whenever you feel tired. So many people don't find time to rest. When you continue working for a long time without resting, you begin to loose zeal for what you do and by so doing, your peace is lost.

Thank you ma for the invitation. You made great points here. Another thing that really affects our mental health is stress. Stress can lead to depression and we all know what depression does to the mind.

Like you said, knowing when to rest is key to dealing with stress.

Mental peace is very important. Some die off because they don't listen to their mental peace. Just like you have said we all need to pay attention,have some rest life is too short to waste .
