The northern regions of Pakistan are famous for the natural beauty of the country and scenic marvels of the world. As for these regions there exists the well-known “Kashmir Valley” a true kingdom of this world nestled among the mountains . The valley has also gotten beautiful with forests, small rivers, and ensuring serenity under the blue sky.
Once a young woman, by name Zainab left her family and friends to have a vacation at this beautiful valley. Zainab was a nature lover and so much appreciated mountains, trees, and rivers among other natural things. They traveled long to the valley, but the view of high mountains, thickets and snowy tops amazed them.
There then disappeared the walls on both sides in the absence of small hills, and appearing on the horizon was a calm blue lake surrounded with green fields and along the borders of the lake namely, rows of beautiful flowers. The water was completely transparent in that one could even see fishes in the lake. They opted to light camp late after the lake and spend the night at the place.
The sun set down and the moonshine made even the lake looked rather mystical. Knowing that they were walking into yet another beautiful set, filming for the couple felt more like setting foot into a dream. This time the group sang songs, make a fire and enjoy the moment laughing under the stars. But Zainab had certain unknown attraction towards the lake. She reached the end with grace, staring at the moonlit ripples in the water, not hearing or seeing anyone.
One day, Zainab saw something crawling at the bottom of the liquid. Initially she imagined that something was swimming near the water surface and as she focused more she could notice that a light was beginning to generate in the middle of the lake. Fearless and curious she said nothing more, as the light started to emerge.
Finally the flash of light turned into a man-like figure. The beauty of the woman gradually emerged after some minutes and she was elegantly dressed, her clothed gleamed as much as the moon. The woman synchronously smiled at Zainab and then started stretching towards the waterside.
At this point Zainab put on a brave face and queried, “who might you be”?
In a soft tone the woman said; ‘I am a spirit of this valley.’ As a resident of the specific location I get to celebrate in the joy of visitors but few are able to see me.
Full of excitement, perplexity, Zainab wanted to know how the people felt when they gained access to the place.
采用了“预设回应” technique, it asked the spirit: “Can you feel happy when people interact with the natural environment?” But this angers me when they affect this beauty—when they fell trees or discharge waste into the lake.
Zainab pledged to “My friends and I will take care of this valley’s beauty and share this word around.”
With a smile the spirit said, ’People like you make this valley exist.’ I always loved nature and always wanted to take care of it.”
These words transformed the ugly spirit into a light beam and it floated to disappear in the water of the lake. Zainab went back to her friends and narrated the experience she had ever been through in he life. Everyone was shocked and the following morning people went around picking any litter around the lake, to ensure it did not get destroyed.
This I think is a defining moment in Zainab’s life. Each time she extended an invitation to people to visit the Kashmir Valley, she put it to people that they have the responsibility of preserving the environment. The valley, as always is stunning and stunning, and the people visiting it now know that they are the natural protectors of the valley.
What we get from nature is not only tranquillity in person but also the conscious to maintain this world. It is a prime responsibility we all have to leave places such as the Kashmir Valley as they are for the future generations.
