A Violet Stone Ornament

Photo of the stone ornament in a keychain that I recently bought. I mainly liked the keychain because of this violet stone although not sure what is this stone exactly.

Did some research online, it could be a charoite stone. Photo was taken last July 7, 2019 using my mobile phone.
