On this Friday morning, I am going to answer a question that's been dying to be revealed. Did the chicken come first...Or the egg?

It's actually pretty simple. The egg came first, yes yes I know, but where'd the egg come from then? Well, here is the answer.

Birds evolved from reptiles, right? Which comes to the conclusion that the first bird hatched from an egg laid by a reptile that was comparable to a bird itself. Now you are probably thinking, but this reptile also came from an egg? Well yes, and reptiles evolved from amphibians. The first reptile was the offspring of an amphibian, which was practically, but not quite, a reptile. Animals that are multicellular and has sex, delivers eggs. Although their name comes down to 'first animal', protozoans aren't animals and don't produce eggs. It is unknown what the first animal was, but it is known that is lived about a billion years ago in the Precambrian, and produced eggs.

It is official, the egg came first!

makes sense I never thought of that.

Me neither. But know we know!

We will have to ask the creator of this virtual reality. If I were to design a VR I would start with the chicken and then spawn. Just an idea.

Well if we have to get technical first came water. Yes, water. And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. Genesis 1:20
