First look into mahoutsukai no yome

Mahoutsukai no yome one of the anime in emission this season (one of the best in my opinion), is an anime of magic and fantasy with a old wizard have an apprentice. The first thought I had was that it was a Japanese thing that only works in its part of the world, but as long as i saw't it change my mind

The anime its an slow pacing story (if you ar looking for a lot of action, it's not for you) with a lot of emphasis in the narrative, a big word ready to explore, many diferent species fairies, wizards, spirits, monsters. the feeling that to this point give me, look like harry potter , made you want to know more and more because the mythology that inspire have been well investigated and it has trace from nordic, american, european.

In the visual the art it really good and beautiful, many scenes have a feeling of not been touch by humans, natural maybe mystic and mysterious. With great drawing and effects that dont let you look away, the creatures and people are also pretty orginals. The protagonist Chise Hatori it's a cute girl classic design but it work in the narrative and the mysterious wizard elias Ainsworth or "pilium murialis" ,who have an intresting look to be the love intrested for chise, he have a big stature and a head of a goat (is not a mask it's hes real face). the secondary caracters have good look to a cute maid with a pink dress an blonde hair and a black dog who can transform in human.

The music is another score for the anime, the soundtrack get you really deep into the episode and transmit the emotions of the moment but it work better in moment of drama or sadness than action and "horror".
