TIMING THE WATER FLOW CYCLES TO THE MOON PHASES

This morning I had an epiphany as I was trimming the Oregano in my aquaponic garden. Was literally thinking what it would be like to be in this little garden as one of these plants or even one of the two tilapia. It occurred to me that maybe they would like different intervals of the timing of the water cycles. Currently, for every hour, the first 15 minutes the water pump is on, and then for the next 45 minutes the water pump turns off. As a surfer who has grown up next to the sea most of my life. I feel in tune with the tides of the ocean. They are different every day and tied to the movements of the moon, perhaps if I tied the timing of the water cycles to the moons position in the sky, the plants and fish would respond in a positive manner. I think it would be an an interesting science experiment, so this is my next project...
