I watched technology closely over the last 6 or 7 years and one thing I learned is how quickly something goes from concept to practicality. Stuff that is discovered in a lab at MIT is in application two years later.

I am sure there are a lot of hurdles to overcome but atomic swaps are something to watch. Charlie Lee is working hard on them and he is one who seems to pull off what he intends to.
