Mass Media VS Steemit

Mass media or the Press is a term that came into use in the 1920s to termize a type of media that is specifically designed to reach a vast society. In everyday conversations, the term is often abbreviated to media.

Low-income societies have a higher dependency and need for mass media than high-economic people because of their limited choices. Higher-income societies have more choice and access to mass media, including direct inquire from sources or experts rather than relying on the information they get from certain mass media.
On July 4, 2016, Steemit, Inc. officially launched Steemit, a social media with virtual money prizes that run on the blockchain of Steem.
