Sharp dip in MAID price

This evening a sharp spike down hit maidsafe prices:

And, while this did not shake me out of my positions, I wonder what the cause was..

Bittrex selling millions of dollars of their customers coins?

Or was it the AI BOTS going short on Poloniex to hit the stop losses of noob traders?
