As the Cryptoverse evolves, smart money will migrate to lasting 'real use case' tech.

Scalability is one issue but there are also so many coins out there (and tokens), that it is hard to discern value, especially for newer investors. Speed is another issue but this is also related to scalability. Another consideration is innovation.

The tech space in general changes rapidly and the Blockchain is no exception. Real world business application and solutions for existing and new sectors have to be taken seriously, Blockchain isn't just about currency, we need to look at innovation.

Second Generation Blockchain tech generally involves the use of smart contracts and things like side chains for private business use. In terms of investing I like to choose coins which are undervalued and have strong use cases in the real world. I prefer 2nd Gen tech at this time.

One of my successful picks of the last few months which I am continuing to hold is Stratis.

Stratis has flown under the radar for the past few months but it has a lot going for it. The price has steadily risen from $3 to $22. The roadmap for Stratis includes privacy features in the new Breeze Wallet and it's new platform for ICO's, both of which are now complete. Stratis is about to announce their first 2 ICO's from 2 known multi million dollar companies in January 2018. The blockchain and side chains are available in the C# language and will be a convenient bridge for companies using Microsoft tech stack, which is the majority! They are based in the City of London, UK and have been quietly working on the roadmap after missing an earlier deadline which caused investors confusion. Marketing, however is just about to start as announced from the CEO, Chris Trew and so I expect some very good upside to this strong brand, expecting 3 figures in the medium term.
