#1 Blog Post - 100 Followers in less than 2 weeks - How is my time on Steemit and what's next for me?

in #blog7 years ago (edited)

Hello, Steemians! So I've been using Steemit for a little less than two weeks. Let's be real this site/blockchain/thing is definitely confusing and difficult. And only about now I finally get how most of it works. I can't believe I've already reached a 100 followers, 50 rep and got 6 posts worth over $40 and the shot below is at $99. Thank you all so so much!

My time so far

I haven't posted as much as I hoped, I haven't been looking for interesting posts as much as I hoped. But I think it's just going to take me some time to get into it all more. Actually a few days ago I was bored and a little down and instead of wasting time on Reddit (I barely used Facebook anyway), I went on to Steemit and what's on it? High quality posts about anything you could ever want. Yes it's a bit hard to find people to follow or a specific post, but this site is still in Beta and I do really believe in it's long term potential, so it will all become easier to wrap your heads around.

My name is @pm-me-your-dog and there is no pm function here, so that shows my knowledge of Steemit beforehand. I do want to see all your dogs though... And I just registered on steem chat so send me your dogs there!

What's next?

I've been trying to post about once a day and I think I'll be sticking with that.

So far I've been mostly posting some of my better old photos and a few pictures that I took on the same day. I still have quite a lot to share around. But I will run out of it. What should I look to post then? I do highly believe that there is no reason to post crappy content. Creating quality content and having a steady amount people following you is the best course of action always. I'm not sure what more can I bring, any suggestions you have would be great. Should I do some Photoshop, photography tutorials, just blog about my own boring life or anything else?

Some of my SBD's will go to buying some new camera gear as the majority of it hasn't changed in 5 years. Still got to figure out how to do all of the exchanging. Or just having some disposable income would be nice as I've just been broke since forever.

Thank you

followers just will increase due to high voting lol

Sure there is a little craze for oh my god I can make money, but I try to not think about it. It's a lot more rewarding to have genuine followers and quality content. It's going to change in a while to help with that more.

All the followers just watching on the vote button and Dollars generator. lolx
