"HOT...HOT HOT, WE'VE GOT IT!" 🤗..................NORTHWEST ADVENTURES! 😀
“Hot, Hot, Hot, We’ve Got It!”🤗
“Dis water just right temperature Silbertop”! 🐸
The LED readout on our hot tub’s power pack was displaying 66 degrees Fahrenheit!😮
“ PEPE, this “Big Pond”, needs to be just a little bit warmer my friend!”😇
Today was “Water” day……….
The town of Sumas has won awards for the best tasting water in Washington!🤗
Instead of using our own well water, that has a bit of iron, we choose each Spring to fill our hot tub with the City of Sumas water!
It’s a short drive from home to this U.S./ Canadian border town.
Take a look at the fourth photo……….
Just beyond the American flag off in the distance, you are looking at the Canadian border!😊
The third photo shows you how the City allows you to fill water tanks from the fire hydrant. A large diameter fire hose is connected to a meter, and then to a fire hydrant.
We have a large bladder that holds several hundred gallons of water. It takes two quick trips to town, and our hot tub is full of crystal clear water!🤗
“Silvertop, Jan is hiking with us today!”🥰
“Nice…. Liz, I will check on the temperature of the hot tub when we return back home, hopefully we will be able to get it it tomorrow…….
Just don’t tell PEPE Lol!”😇🤣
Till tomorrow Silvertop Mike 😊
Hey @silvertop!
What a fantastic post! I always enjoy seeing your active adventures, but this one with the Sumas water and hot tub prep is especially cool. The photos really paint a picture, from the fire hydrant setup (who knew!?) to the Canadian border view – that's some seriously scenic water sourcing! I can almost feel that "just right" temperature you're aiming for, haha!
It's great you and Jan are staying active, and I'm sure Pepe will appreciate the warmer water soon enough. 😉 Thanks for sharing this unique glimpse into your day. I'm curious, how long does it typically take to heat up the tub once it's filled? Looking forward to more of your adventures!
Very beautiful photos, thank you.
