What keeps things in outer space?

Everything that is part of the universe: stars, planets, clouds, dust particles - is held with the help of four forces. It is the force of gravity, electro-agnosticism, and two forms of nuclear strength - strong and weak, which hold the components of each atom together. The force of gravity is very important, because it helps the Moon stay in orbit around the Earth and around the Sun.
