Excellent post, people really need to start understanding that. Steemit is the centralized initial roll out platform to bring attention to the blockchain.

The “poor UX” is by design. There’s so many lowhanging fruits which could be picked by improving condenser but it isn’t done on purpose. And that’s right.

One thing I except from Steemit Inc though, as they are the largest vested player and [cough]specific early mining[cough] they should start thinking about hackathons all over the world.

That will also benefit them, due to how vested they are.
