The Kingdom of Heaven👑

God's word has a lot to tell us about His Kingdom. I was looking through some passages on this subject this evening, and I thought I'd share some of what God's word says on this subject.

We know that the blessings we recieve right now come from God's Kingdom:

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:"Ephesians 1:3

We know that God's Kingdom is Eternal:

"And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever."Revelation 11:15

"And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever."Daniel 2:44

"He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation." Isaiah 25:8-9

God's Kingdom is all-encompassing: and includes worlds both seen and unseen, natural and spiritual, temporale and eternal:

"And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,"Revelation 1:5

"Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."Hebrews 11:3

All Ethnic groups will be there:

"And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed."Daniel 7:14

"That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."Philippians 2:10

"While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."2 Corinthians 4:18

In Heaven we will see the face of Jesus:

"And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads."Revelation 22:3-4

Who will be called "great," and who will be called "least" in the Kingdom of Heaven?:

"Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."Matthew 5:17-19

How does the bible describe the Kingdom of Heaven?

"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know."John 14:2-4

There are twelve gates made of pearls. The streets and entire city is made of pure gold and is as trasparent as glass. There is no temple there for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb, (Jesus) are the temple of it. There is no sun or moon, For the glory of God lights heaven, and the Lamb is the light thereof. The nations of them which are saved will walk in that light, and the Kings of the earth will bring their glory and honour into it. The gates stay open all through the day, and there shall be no nights there. And nothing of this world that makes it so corrupt will enter into the Kingdom, only those who's names are written in the Lamb's book of life.

"And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life."Revelation 21:21-27
