Certainly, teach kids to roll with God.

I picked up skating in the streets of NJYC metro. It is often a misunderstood activity that can lead its participants to being ostracized. Without God in their lives, they won't be strong enough or have people to turn to in times of trouble.

Giving these kids positive social experiences, as well as, putting them on the spiritual path can often be as easy as mentioning the Word to these adventures. The Bible is filled with them. :)

Wow that is amazing, reaching people where they are can have the biggest impact. What side of town were you all located.

We're actually based out of California but we do public-private partnerships while operating and programming skateboard parks around the country. We were partnered with the city of Orlando for several years and ran programming out of one of their parks. As we do that we also create partnerships with local organizations and other groups. The idea is to give kids positive things to do besides just hanging out. Currently, we're also working with accessibility groups too and holding events and competitions for all kids including a growing number in wheelchairs and with prosthetics. It's been a very rewarding experience.

That is truly inspiring and as creative as it gets. We try to help out in our local community and if there is anything we can do to help do let us know.
