English guide to Nanxun Ancient Town, China

in #cnlast month

Nanxun Ancient Town is a place I have been looking forward to for a long time. It satisfies all my fantasies about Jiangnan Water Town. Green tiles, small bridges, flowing water, hand-rowed boats. It is not as commercial as Wuzhen and Zhouzhuang. It still retains a quiet and slow daily life.

❶ Baijianlou: Walking on the ancient roads on both sides, looking at the buildings on the other side, plus the reflections in the water, it's like swimming in a painting.
❷ Changfa Bridge: A bridge I like very much, with the green trees and small shops on the shore, so comfortable!
❸ Tongjin Bridge: At the Shizigang Pier, you can take pictures of the fusion of the bridge and the water.
❹ Water bus: Sitting on the boat to feel the Jiangnan atmosphere, three yuan per person, 30 minutes per trip

Photo time: sunrise and sunset are more beautiful

🎫Tickets: Free, open all day [small attractions are charged separately]
🚅Transportation: Self-driving navigation to "Nanxun Ancient Town", high-speed rail (Hangzhou-Huzhou High-speed Railway Station)
🍜Food recommendations: Xun pig's trotters, Shuangjiao noodles, three teas, Xun pastry, Dingsheng cake. This time I also brought some local food back. I bought a box of Qiaoshi Qiaoshi's chocolate citrus slices in Xunbingji near Zhang Shiming's old house. The local specialty Red Beauty citrus is used, wrapped in chocolate, sour and sweet without being greasy, and the taste is very fresh. It is both beautiful and delicious. The snowflake crisps also have citrus and a lot of very solid high-quality nuts. The milky fragrance is rich, the nuts are salty and fragrant, and the Red Beauty citrus is combined with the sweetness of marshmallows. It is crispy and soft, full of milk flavor, and delicious to the point of not being able to stop~
