I would be inclined to agree that the price would continue to rise, but BTC is not a very efficient crypto as a trading currency and once there's more options to buy the other coins, I think it'll take a hit.

I guess we'll see when Coinbase finally do make things like IOTA tradable on their platform. If the price of BTC goes down in the days after such a launch, you'll know my theory holds water.
