Lara Beach -Akamas - Cyprus
The beach at Lara Bay, on Cyprus's north-west coast, is known as Lara Beach and is a near-deserted sandy strip that is home to loggerhead and green turtles.
On the north-west coast of the island. An extensive and often near-deserted sandy beach and one of the few remaining havens for loggerhead and green turtles to nest – so loungers and umbrellas are not allowed. Monk seals also dwell in the sea caves around the peninsula.
