I make sure I update my iPhone right the minute it comes out.
I read a couple posts to make sure it is bug free.
Impossible to be 99% free.
Always make sure when you upgrade be in one place preferably at your home WiFi if you are doing it OTA.
Apple in general pretty quick with patches.

I find Apple products way to easy to use. They are way overpriced though. Most likely they work as programmed.
