Most Unbiased Comprehensive GoPro HERO7 Black FULL REVIEW

GoPro Hero 7 Fist impressions without manual (should be self explaining today)

Pros:

• heavy / sturdy
• super easy button / touch design
• USB connection seems to be USB 3.0 (fast)
• water-proof without housing
• awesome stabilization (beyond anything else)
• good sound quality (way better than any cam with a housing)
• great video / foto during daylight
• Windows software installer let you chose the hdd drive

Cons:

• build quality super bad. Has huge gaps in the housing. $30 chinese camera like. Wow.
• very bothering messages all the time for paid GoPro Plus subscription
• lots of functions not self explaining (took me too long to find the settings page on the touch screen). It looks like it was made by very intelligent people, not realizing they should create something for average human
• on/off very confusing and cheap peeping and no message (shuttung down or so) and no animation
• touch-screen nice, but no 'extrea' feeling (like apple or so)
• app very confusing
• camera get super hot and consums much power even without recording, just with playing in the options and wifi on
• app always asks to install the editing app and consums way too much space (100 mb)
• google photos does not find the pic/video folder !!!!
• really bad video / foto during night
• Windows software installer looks really outdated
• after first sync with app only very few pic and videos have been transferred and they are not stored locally, but somewhere in noman's land and only available 7 days ... wow ... never seen such bs ...
• first firmware update failed (but camera still usable) - camera says sucessful ... lol
• (waterproof) flaps (usb, sc-card ...) don't have a 2nd lock and I don't have a very secure feeling. Panasonic water proof cam much better. No wonder there are lots of water damage complains
• after 1st day I rather hate my GoPro insteady of loving it
• app seem to store all the videos and pictures locally on the phone, but they are not visible in a file explorer or in google photos app, without watching them first !!!!
• no 1080p video ... really GoPro?
• camera stays in charging mode sometimes even after removing cable
• battery very tight fit - hard to remove. If battery blows up just little while overheating it will damager the camera for sure and you won't be able to remove the battery any more
• packaging will be permanently damaged if you open the camera (do they want to prevent returns?)

Would I buy it again? Hard to say ... if it was $300 - then for sure, but not for $400. But if you want the best action cam with the best video and best stabilization - then go and get it!
