Embroidery Hoops (some finished, some in the progress)
First off, pardon the merino wool fibers everywhere.... it's impossible to keep up with them when wool is part of so much of my arting round here. I do lint brush everything down before exhibitions and selling, of course.
This is a sample of hoops I've been working on, a couple are finished and a couple are almost finished. I really love working on hoops and frames, especially when bead embroidering.
I hope you enjoy this offering and are not too judgmental about the wool everywhere -- I am a rather messy creatrix.
May the day unfold some beauty for you. <3
Ahh, I see...I love the flaming heart <3 and don't be fooled by the expedited photos I put up, my work space is a disaster of a mess, haha...piles of leather, and half finished projects everywhere...I de-clutter every so often.
Very nice work!!!
Okay, good... I feel better now. ha. I do clean up seasonally but it's still never great.
I love your etsy shop, all that gorgeous leatherwork. <3
The journal shop? Thanks :) Metal and leather are two of my other passions, and now learning pyrography.
I love the fabric and painting you do. I am not great with fabric, I try, but it is just not my medium. Needle felting is fun though, every once in a while.
I am loving seeing what you create :)
I think clutter and art go hand and hand...I know I have so many ideas flying around, and when one forms I need to drop everything and dive in completely, it just takes over. All clutter is forgotten.
I find that most creative people tend to have many outlets! I so get what you said here (me too):
"I know I have so many ideas flying around, and when one forms I need to drop everything and dive in completely, it just takes over."
It's been a real treat "meeting" you today. We have lots of similar loves in the world, you inspire me -- I look for that in other people as it makes me a better person. <3
Those small beads.. we call them sugar beads. Upvoted.
