20 years of magic

This is a story about one young girl and one book that changed her life. I was only 8 years old when my obsession began. I had descovered the power of reading and books. It was amazing, my first book was Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi.

Even though it was a life change for me I felt it wasn't enough, and for some reason I was very upset about that. I read dozens of children books. All were beautiful but none had that click i've been looking and waiting for. The saviour came after 3 years.
It was a sunny, cloudless day when our story starts. I was out of school and my mom was taking me to the library to finaly have a card that i could borrow more books. I was waiting paciently on the chair when I saw the beautiful book on the shelf. It was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone and lucky me that I borrowed it imediately because it changed my life, the second time.

I am really surprised that when I read it, even till this day I enjoyed it as much as the first time. When I read the first sentence, I get good shivers trough my body. I am so glad that I spent my childhood with this book because it learnd me so much about the value of friendship and love.
