FAST⏩ Tech News S01E01: Apple, Google Stadia, and new big update for VLC Media Player
Hello everyone,
Welcome to the first part of the fast technology series FAST Tech News.
In this series, we will always write you some of the most interesting technological changes that have happened in recent days. So let's get to it. :D
1⏩. 842 Arm chips per second! That's how quickly they made Arm chips in the last quarter!
The arm has released a documentary boasting new records. For example, in the last quarter of 2020, over 6.7 billion chips were produced.
And such a minor interesting fact, Arm does not manufacture its chip, it only sells its architectures in the form of a license. Arm currently licenses up to 1,910 companies.
2⏩. More than 100 new games to be added to Google Stadia!
Google has announced that it is canceling its gaming studio, which was to supply exclusive games to the Stadia. However, this does not mean that the Stadia is over because we have to see up to 100 new game titles this year. Google has decided to add games that everyone knows. Google currently mentions titles such as Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Edition, Shantae: Risky's Revenge - Director's Cut, It Came From Space and Ate Our Brains, FIFA 21, and Kaze and the Wild Masks. The following will also be added throughout the year: Far Cry 6, Riders Republic, Hello Engineer, and many more. :D
Google has also released its game list, which can be found at this link:

3⏩. The VLC media player has prepared a big update for us this year to version 4.0!
The well-known VLC media player celebrated 20 years of existence on February 1. Even after those 20 years, its developers are trying and still adding something new. Throughout the VLC, we could notice that the developers are adding minor changes to their news. The last big update was released in December 2018 to version 3.0, and this year I have another big update to version 4.0, which is to bring us a new user interface, such as that instead of light gray, primarily transparent elements and modern looking icons. Wider options for integrating online content and more should also be added.
Unfortunately, it is not known when we will see the new update, but it will certainly be this year! :D
4⏩. There has been speculation on the Internet that the next iPhones could have a 120hz display!
Recently, there has been speculation that Apple will add the Always-on display feature to its phones, as it has done with its Apple Watch Series 5 and 6. This change is expected to come in the fall for the new Apple iPhones, and this is not the only change because Apple will use the new energy-saving LTPO OLED display technology. And it should also bring the function of a 120hz display. This is quite nice news. But this novelty is very quickly spoiled by the fact that this function will probably only be for models marked Pro.
So we'll see how Apple approaches it. :D
5⏩. Siri can now finally play music from services other than Apple music!
By switching to iOS 14.5, Siri should finally open music players other than Apple Music. In this version, Siri should learn, for example, Spotify, YouTube Music, Deezer, and others. We could look forward to the beta version of iOS 14.5 soon.
It can be seen that Apple is questioning its fans.
We thank you for your attention and see you next time with some other article. So bye.
