Would You Consider Yourself a Feminist?

I'm a 23 year old woman who up until very recently has always considered herself a feminist. The reason for this change? I'm not so sure feminism still represents what it was initially supposed to when it first came about. This is not to say that I do not believe feminism was a necessity previously, or to say that it is still not needed in countries whereby women are still treated as second class citizens, but i'm not 100% certain that feminism represents what it initially did.
(Full disclosure, i'm very open to differing opinions as this is a topic i'm still rather confused about, please educate me if you feel it's necessary).

There are certain women out there (and they are very loud in expressing their opinions) who believe in a feminist society whereby women should have more rights than men. This is not equality, and it is these women who are, in my opinion, soiling the feminist name. This era of feminism isn't really fighting for anything in particular, which in a way shows how much success first and second wave feminists had with their movement, but also bids the question as to whether it is still so desperately needed.

I believe in equality, I believe feminism has done a hell of a lot of good and I wouldn't be able to do a lot of things if it had never come about, but i'm not so sure I could walk alongside a lot of today's feminists and share their ideals.

What are your views on this? Would you consider yourself a third wave feminist? Do you think it is still as necessary as it was in the nineteenth century? How do you feel about feminism and transgender men and women as they are never represented within this movement?
