Chapter 1

“Ugh! We’re moving again! Always moving, not ever staying in one spot! You know I was just starting to make friends there...even though they were all squirrels.” Zarith mumbled to himself.
The tribe was moving again. This was going to be there fifth time doing so this month. They did so because of the eastern war now moving west and taking towns along the way. Tribes convinced to move and give up everything.
Zarith was a little under average with his strength. He carried what he should have been carrying at age 10. He was 4 years behind. But this didn’t matter to him because he had all the strength he was supposed to have on his body in his head. He was mature or at least could be. He decided to just think differently about his life. How sick of traveling he was getting because of all the rules and tribe ways that he thought he could do better.

“Zarith!” Murai called. “What are you doing? You’re slowing the horses down! We only have 2 days to get to our next camp, with the east on our tails we’ll die or who knows what by that time thanks to you!” Zarith Sh turns around and finds that he was slowing down the horses which were staring at him with annoyed eyes just like the adults on them. “Shirye, (sorry).” Zarith apologized.
“Hmm.” Replied the head adult on the horse closets to Zarith.
