I really did enjoy @blueeyes8960, but I'm going with the squirrel's story, @brisby. She turned my emotion from a happy one to a creepy one with the last couple of paragraphs.
This time my vote is for @stever82. He may not be the most skilled writer, but I liked the Kafkaesque atmosphere of his ending, where the poor nurse seems obliged by government services in a surreal machination that has been going on for decades.

I vote for Felix's ending this time.
