My Bootcamp Journey Pt.1

I'm just coming to the realization that it's only been a month since I started my Gold's Gym Bootcamp coaching journey. I've gone through and still am going through all kinds of different emotions and experiences. The amount of fear and anxiety I've experienced the last 31 + days has been absolutely amazing! I love the daily challenges and the constant work needed to progress this opportunity that was given. I've faced many of my fears and now feel more confident after each session that I do. Another confident booster is the amount of learning I've been going through. I haven't been to school since I was 19. I'm almost 23! So I had forgotten what it takes to learn haha. I want y'all to know that growing up, I was never the kid to take the time to study or even do my homework. I passed everything by a series of cheating and learning how to cheat effectively to get me by. Now I am the opposite haha. It still takes me time to get going because of my procrastination but at least i'm really putting forth the effort of learning this go around. Steemit2.jpg
Let me tell ya the amount of times I've been told no about wanting to try out bootcamp, A LOT haha. I totally understand it though! For one we're right in the middle of the gym. At first, even I was freaking out because now i'm visible from every angle of the gym. It was quite an uncomfortable feeling at first and I discovered in myself that I was uncomfortable being watched. I am no longer but I can understand why other people may feel intimidated going because of that feeling if they are like myself. I was once just a member of Gold's Fit and was always doing my own thing when it came to discovering new fitness programs to do. I already found my love for fitness and health. I'd see a person who wasn't in shape really trying to become in shape by taking the classes I had found for myself to progress in. Now that I'm in the coach position I realize what it takes to get someone interested in fitness altogether if they weren't already. I now understand what level of energy and care it takes to get people feeling comfortable enough to want to keep coming back. I never knew until being in this position. Steemit 3.jpg
I also never knew like consciously the detail it takes to promote your business and at the same time do it in a way that's appealing to all spectrum's. Which requires a lot of trial and error. I had listened to a lot of Tony Robbins and other great business people talk about the amount of work it takes to run there own companies, so you think i'd have an idea of it right? Well an idea of it vs reality is quite different. A lot of no's and a lot of maybe's come along with it but its still the most fun thing ever to do and I'd never let any obstacle stop me. :D steemit 4.jpg
I do have something funny to say before telling a couple of my class experiences. I honestly never knew how difficult it would be to just simply speak over the microphone. I seriously would get butterflies in my stomach before speaking. I'd hesitate and slowly start freaking out in my head and it'd delay me every time hahahaha. So if you ever get a chance to speak on a microphone to everyone at your place, its quite a first several experiences hahaha.
I have had 2 really good classes during this month I will say. I had 7 people in class one day and just this last week had 4 people come. The group of seven was a lot of fun because it was a tester day and I had many different levels to work with and help push past their limits. The group of four had a challenge member, a father and son combo, and a guy looking to mix it up. This class was super fun because it was a speed work day and a team based spelling game. Each team had to sprint a distance to pick up letters that were faced down and spell out bootcamp. Each letter had a set of moves that the group had to finish before moving on to the next letter. It was so awesome to see them having fun and laughing together. No one let each other skip a move and they made sure to encourage each other when it started to get tough. It was a great place to be in that moment! steemit5.jpg
To finsih, putting yourself out there is extremely difficult. To really push for what you want and achieve something you love doing, is extremely hard. It's hard mentally, physically, and spiritually. I understand why some can do it and some can not. If you get the chance to really put yourself out there and help people in anyway I highly recommend it though. It may be extremely difficult and uncomfortable but at least it will be the route you choose and not what the environment around you chose for you. Plus it has MANY good feelings as well. Those out way the uncomfortable. :)
