Two Ingredient No Stove Required Chocolate TRUFFLES (Perfect for College Dorm Residents or a Quick Fix for Chocoholics)
When I was in college, I was always looking for quick and inexpensive ways to make something sweet -- especially at 2am! Back then the only appliance we were allowed to have in our dorm room was a small refrigerator. Now it seems that college students can bring in just about anything they want.
Luckily for the recipe I have today, the only appliances needed are a microwave and a refrigerator. If you don't have either of these, chances are that someone on your floor does. Offer them one or more of these amazing truffles and I'm sure they will let you use their microwave and/or refrigerator whenever you want.
Easy And Delicious Truffles Recipe
Ingredients:
1 can of white frosting (16 oz)
2 cups of milk chocolate chips
Directions:
- Place the chocolate chips in a microwaveable bowl and melt them in the microwave. I do this by placing them in the microwave for 30 second intervals and stirring between set. This assures that they will melt evenly and quickly.
- Once the chocolate chips are melted, stir in the frosting. Mix well.
- Spread the mixture into a 9" X 13" pan and refrigerate for 45 minutes.
- Using a spoon or cookie scoop, scoop out enough of the truffle batter to shape them into 1" balls.
If you want to add a bit of pizzazz, you can roll the truffles in powdered sugar or sprinkles. Yes, this recipe is 100% sugar and when you are in need of chocolate, it is the perfect solution.
You can also add one of these truffles (without the sprinkles) to a cup of hot chocolate. Delicious!
