I haven´t tried tempeh, I only tried the tofu which is actually famous in my home country the Philippines. Someday I will try it out... there is a special market in Vienna that sells exotic ingredients and food. Thanks for sharing this I made your recipe a reference for later when I find the tempeh.

When I make this stew, I only need to eat twice a day. That's how filling it is. The tempeh takes on a nice, grainy texture when you cook it, so it stands up well to coconut milk or any other broth you'd like to try.
